Hi,
I'm really sorry because I'm sure that the information is here but I must be using the wrong search terms if it is...
I've just bought a new router. I didn't realise that Sky don't let you use your own until I searched for the details I would need to be able to connect. I'm an old BeThere customer so tried to get information out of Sky that way but they wouldn't give me the details I need.
I've not actually opened the router yet so I still have the option on a return...
My question is, after I extract my username and password from my existing router, is that it, I just plug in my new one, stick in the u/n and password and it's plain sailing? Or will I have to do anything else? I don't particularly want to stick new firmware etc. on my new £100 router...
The router in question is the Acer n55u.
Thanks, and sorry again for posting a question I'm sure has been answered.
