Hi all,
Ok i've ordered a replacement router to replace the Sky Hub SR101 i have running alongside my old TP-Link TD-W8960N. I've ordered a TL-WR1043ND which i know has been used to replace the Sky Hub using DD-WRT firmware. The thing is as you may or may not be aware the 1043ND is now at v2 and looks totally different. TL-WR1043ND - Welcome to TP-LINK
I've seen the guide on here for the v1 router using DD-WRT but looking on the DD-WRT forums this new v2 router is not yet supported but is supported by the OpenWRT firmware. I'm just wondering if the OpenWRT firmware has been used by people on here on routers, in much the same way as the DD-WRT firmware has, to replace the SR101........ Or do i just wait a while till this router is supported by DD-WRT?
Sorry if this is a really daft and easily answered question by the way.
Cheers
Dave.
