Hi guys
Sorry another thread on port forwarding. I just cant get it to work and I really need an answer and help if you don't mind. I have looked at every thread on the forum regarding this and also followed all the tutorials but with no success.
Router: Sky Hub SR101
IP Camera: YCAM Cube 1080
NAS: Synology DS212J
All I am trying to do is setup port forwarding so I can access the camera and also the NAS from outside the LAN (away from home).
I have setup a DYNDNS address and configured the router:
![]()
This seems to work and it can be pinged which is the only way I have found to test it:
![]()
I have set the camera up with a fixed IP of 192.168.0.30 and YCAM advise you need to forward port 8150.
So firstly I have setup the services:
![]()
Next put in a new inbound firewall rule for both the TCP and UDP for 9150 to the Fixed LAN IP.
![]()
![]()
![]()
Finally after clicking apply on everything I head over to a port checker to see if it is open and fail.... nothing. The DNS address plus the port fails dnsaddress:8150....
Any ideas as I am pulling my hair out over this dam router!
Thanks Chris.
