I thought I read somewhere that homeplugs can pick up interference from anything plugged in to the adjacent socket (assume 2+ gang socket), especially if it's a surge protected extension lead. Is this true?
The 'piggy' versions of homeplug adapters contain a filter, so if the above is true, is it a better configuration to have a homeplug 'piggy' with a multi-gang extension lead lead plugged in to that rather than having them side by side?
