I had Sky Fibre installed at the beginning of February and it has been working well. An open reach engineer actually visited to carry out the install, however he installed an OR faceplate only, with the SR102, so I don't have an OR modem like some others have.
I've read that users have been able to replace their modems with a third party one, and I'm interested in doing the same with the popular TP-Link one that many are using with DDWRT, but I notice a lot of people doing so have the OR modem as well.
I was just wondering if I could replace my SR102 provided by Sky directly without needing the OR modem? I would appreciate if anyone has done so could confirm that it works, I have already extracted my username and pass :)
