VDSL vs. Filter

Hi there,

I'm upgrading to Sky fibre unlimited pro and should be switched on in about a week these are my possible speeds on the BT checker: Clean - 79.6 59.9 20 19.6
Impacted - 70.3 41.3 20 13.9

Been on the phone with sky support and long story short my master socket is 5mbps slower than my test socket on current broadband. A sky engineer is coming wednesday to sort the problem and tidy up the wires (no.5 wire is not connected to the master socket for some reason only 2+3).

So... is it worth pestering sky to fit a VDSL faceplate as well when the engineer comes or is it fine to just have him fix the master socket then use the supplied fibre filters instead? Bearing in mind that I'd like to have the clean speeds rather than impacted seeing as its possible I could get max speeds...

Thanks,
James :)
