If i understand the setup correctly the new fibre cab that bto installed about 18 months ago near to my house has to be connected to the original copper cab that provides my line, if so then the two cabs will have to be connected together, as they are about 50 metres apart and on opposite sides of the road i am assuming that a cable of some kind would need to be run under the road to connect it with the new one is when they eventually get around to it,i know there are many reasons why cabs have to placed where they are but it just seems strange that the original cab is sitting on it's own piece of land with nothing surrounding it but the new one gets placed 50 metres down the road and am just curious as to what might be the reasoning behind the siting of the new cab and if my assumption that the need to cable between them is correct
