Port Forwarding Problems through a DMZ host

I tried setting up my old Dlink DIR 655 to my SR101 using the guide posted here http://www.skyuser.co.uk/forum/askin...nk-dir613.html by Isitme. Everything initially went smooth, I managed to setup a smartDNS & was able to access US Netflix everywhere, Android/WDTV Live/PC’s. But when I tried dynamic DNS (DDNS), dyndns reported it was using the DMZ address, which is a local address, so no good really, so I continued using the DDNS of the Sky SR101 router.

Further problems obviously occurred when I tried to access my IP cameras (of which I have 7), I could access them locally as localIP:port_no, but not as globalIP:port_no, or which I’d rather be using remotely DDNS:port_no. Now I think I’ve sorted out the port forwarding by using the guide here and I checked a port open with Open Port Check Tool required ports being open.

So, I know the problem lies with not being able to access the DMZ host (DIR 655), typing into a URL line my DDNS results in being directed to the Sky SR101 router, if I could access the DIR 655 remotely over the internet using my DDNS, would be a step closer to solving my IP camera accessing problems.

I’ve toyed with the idea of setting + somehow using server domain name, assigning DDNS as static address (although I don’t know if there’d be a conflict with the Sky router). I’ve even thought about using the Sky router as an IP camera + outdoor wifi access point only network, via homeplug (as I was previously successfully port forwarded on the Sky router), where the DIR 655 network would serve the rest of my house wirelessly (including bridge), if that is even possible because of DMZ (although, this is my least preferred option).

From what I can gather from the internet, it is possible, but I just haven’t found out any details, so if anyone could shine any light on this problem of mine, I would be eternally grateful, as I have a Dlink DIR 880L coming on Monday, to replace the DIR 655. Thanks.
