Hi,
I have had Sky Fibre (40Mb) for a while now and I upgraded to Sky Fibre Pro (80Mb) on Friday 2nd Jan. The upgrade was completed on Monday 5th Jan (yesterday). Not too bad considering they quoted 6 days for the setup!
I have more than 20 wireless devices which the Sky Hub seems to struggle with, so I decided to pop to PC World and buy an Asus DSL-AC68U (the model with the built in VDSL modem). I extracted my Sky user and pass using Wireshark and entered it in to the DSL-AC68U setup wizard, and amazingly it worked immediately without any issues whatsoever. (firmware version 3.0.0.4.376.2158).
All seems to be working great and there have been no DSL connection drops or any thing. The router seems to be very good.
However, I have looked at the Asus DSL log and it shows CRC errors and also a sync speed which is significantly less than what it quotes as the "Max Speed". I was hoping someone could take a look for me and let me know whether this is normal or not?
DSL Firmware Version 1.0.2.1
DSL Driver Version FwVer:5.5.1.126_B_A60901 HwVer:T14.F7_0.1

Thanks! :)
