I moved house last week and organised my Sky phone and fibre to be transferred on Monday 2nd February.
The Openreach Engineer turned up and replaced the master socket, went and fiddled in the cabinet and then left. My phone was working but midnight came and went and my internet never came on.
I called on Tuesday and was told Openreach had already identified an issue, something to do with an issue removing the service from the previous line and moving it onto the new line, and I was promised an update on Thursday.
On Thursday I waited, turned the SR102 off and on again a few times throughout the day, and again no internet. The MySky Broadband page still showed "Sky Fibre Pro Waiting for Activation" or something like that.
I called today (Friday) and got through to the Fibre Support. They told me everything was looking good on their systems and on Openreach's systems, but still I had no internet. I checked on MySky and it actually shows my Fibre Pro as being active for the first time, but I'm still getting nothing. The SR102 has no smiley face on it (neither amber nor white).
Sky offered to send an Openreach engineer out on Saturday, but then the guy noticed I was on Fibre Pro and put me through to the Fibre Pro team in Bulgaria. By the time I'd run through everything with them, the Saturday and Sunday appointments had run out and now I've got someone coming out on Monday.
I'm just wondering if anyone has ever experienced anything like this? Any ideas what I can expect? Might my connection miraculously come on before Monday? I'm losing my mind without my internet :frown:
EDIT: I should also say, I've gone through all the standard troubleshooting. Removed the MK3 Openreach faceplate and tried using a microfilter in the test socket; tried unplugging the SR102 and using my old ECI Openreach modem with an SR101 etc; still nothing.
