I recently invested in the Asus RT-AC68U as we do a lot of streaming from the Synology and have seen an increase in the number of wifi devices in the household (Kids!).
The router is the only Wifi box, and runs the most recent firmware, which has the detailed parental controls (as per Trend), so I can manage on a device basis who can see what and when they see it...
Currently the Asus is connected to the SkyHub SR101 and is in the Hub's DMZ, so gets everything except what is going to the Sky HD boxes (wired ethernet)
Is there *any* value removing the SkyHub completely from the equation? I currently have the ECI Openreach modem, which is rock solid, and my connection from my PC (wired ethernet to the Asus) is very close to that that Sky say I get on the Broaband Speed tester.
