I recently upgraded my multiroom box to the 2tb (DRX895) it replaced my (DRX890) the standard 500gb currently supplied by sky its just sat in the cupboard collecting dust ive already scavenged the hdd out of it for use in an older hd box, i have a 1tb hdd sat collecting dust im wondering if i can put it in the box and give it use the specs are 7200rpm sata 3. Are there any preformats needed or can i put it in as it is its never been formatted as i bought it and didnt end up using it. Do i just do the software download??
