hd box needs frequent reboots

amstrad drx890 locks up once or twice a week and need a reboot to sort it any ideas whats causing this,
its not been modified at all just used as a multi room box ,when it locks there is no picture but sound comes via the optical to amp and holding the power button on the remote reboots it buts thats all it will do
