Engineer visit planned

Sky HD box has been problematic (freezing / locking up) for about 4 months. Have called Sky on 3 occasions and have been talked through all possible reset processes; each time the agent assuring me it would fix the problem.

The problem recurred again today so called Sky, as soon as the agent said he he would take me through a technical procedure to reset the box I told him I had done all manner of resets. He said he had to go through it so I told him not to waste mine or his time and just out me through to cancellations. After being put on hold for a minute the agent then said a free engineer visit will be provided because I had asked to be put through to cancellations.

No doubt the engineer will replace the Sky HD box which is now over 7 years old. My question is will it be replaced with a refurb of the same model or is it likely to be a newer model? Or even a brand new box?
